Do you have a small problem with your computer that you suspect might be more to do with the User than the machine? Would you like to learn how to do a very particular thing?
As well as running general training courses, I conduct quick, individual training sessions and small settings changes for Cambridge computer Users at our office. I’ve done three today so far.
Here are some examples:
- You’re having trouble using your email application. It looks different to what you had before and you want to try something else
- You scan a document but when you go to email it on you can’t find it in your computer and you don’t know how to attach it
- You’ve recently had your email password reset and now you need help to change it on your other devices
Often these are the kinds of issues that people would love to get their family members to help them with but that’s not always possible. I can go through the problem, suggest a solution, change settings, set up shortcuts and bookmarks, and even write notes if you would like some. A half hour appointment is only $57.50, or $46 if you have a Gold Card. Often only 15 minutes is enough time ($28.75 or $23 with a Gold Card).
If you have an issue or a question like this please call and book an appointment with Gina (available during school hours Monday to Thursday). I’m surrounded by very qualified and experienced computer technicians so I understand how you might feel. Luckily I’ve picked up a few tricks and I’m more than happy to help.
